Last week went by very quickly. I have finals to do for the duration of next week, but after that, I have only six weeks of class left before I start my externship. Finding time to do edits to the main book I’m working on is difficult in the middle of all that, so progress is sluggish. I suppose I’ll have to set aside separate days or something. Though as the end of my class draws near, so does my deadline to have edits on it done. At this point, I’m probably looking at it being the end of July before it’s ready for submissions again. Not too thrilled with that idea, but if May comes and goes with no improvements, July is going to be reality.
On the bright side, I’ve decided I want to invest in an herbology book. I’ve got every other kind of informative book out there, but nothing for natural remedies yet.

Here it is at last! SaSu chapter one, here for your reading enjoyment ♥. I’m still new to the ways things can be posted here, so feel free to give the heads up on anything that might be helpful. Otherwise, look for chapter two to be posted next week.

So of course I’d be too busy with outside chores to get anything done for tonight. I should’ve seen that one coming, but I’d forgotten about the “best laid plans” concept. The one time I pull out my chisel and engrave the day’s plans in stone, *poof!* The world goes to hell in a hand-basket. No time for writing, editing, finishing up a report, studying (which is what I’m doing right now); not a single bit of time for any of it. No matter, I’ll still have the first chapter of SaSu cleaned and posted by tomorrow.
I suppose this isn’t all bad, though. I was already thinking of changing chapter premier dates to Sundays for this very reason. I guess this will have to be my sign.

So far, the first chapter of Sapphire Sunlight is looking to be on time! A complete miracle since I haven’t had a chance to do much of anything creative since sunday. I really want to work hard on this though, and treat it as any other story I’ve poured countless hours of my life and free time into
.
As of right now, I have the chapters planned out through six, and most of that happened on Monday. The bad news? I still haven’t figured out the central conflict.
Crap.
