About the Writer
Incase you didn’t already guess it, I am a fantasy writer. Not a genuinely published one–not yet, anyway, because then I’d call myself an author!–but writing is my greatest pleasure, and being published is, naturally, my goal.
I started work on my current project some while back, and after my expected rejections came in the mail (I was excited about them, too =) ), I knew it was time to put the ms. through its first major revision. So that’s what I’m doing right now, and I’ve got to say, it’s a rather amusing job. You learn a lot about yourself when you go through early chapters that were originally edited six to ten months before the very last ones. Some of them smell of back-burner, while others are odd and choppy with huge chunks of information that can be done without. It really cracks me up, actually, because when you go through and tweak things, you think, “Gee, why didn’t I do this the first time?” Ahh, the amusements of youth!
Anyway, I plan to have the edits for that ms. completed by late June, then it’s back to the publishing house with it. And the next. Then the next. And then if they say no again, I’ll revise it again, and keep sending it until they say yes 
. If nothing else, I’m determined.
